Itinerary
- Before the Trip – Your guide will reach out directly 24-48 hours prior to the adventure to go over key details and answer any questions.
- Day of the Tour – Meet your guide at the trailhead or the Summit Quest basecamp (depending on guide’s direction). From there, you’ll venture into the beautiful backcountry for a day filled with exploration and learning.
Waivers, Health History, and Emergency Contact Policy
Summit Quest Adventures is dedicated to our guests’ safety. All our guides are trained to identify and address potential risks to ensure safe experiences. Because outdoor activities come with inherent risks, we require each guest to sign a liability waiver and health history form. For guests under 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete the waiver. All information provided is confidential and will only be shared with rescue or medical personnel in an emergency. Per company policy, Emergency Contacts should be at least 18 years old and must not be participating in the same tour. Summit Quest Adventures is also committed to sustainable operations.

Area Information
Summit Quest Adventures is permitted to guide in a variety of landscapes across the Evergreen area and neighboring regions, giving us access to diverse terrain. We select tour destinations shortly before each trip to ensure the best and safest conditions for the group. Our tours typically take place from December through April.

Summit Quest Adventures values your safety. Our team is trained to anticipate and manage hazards in the backcountry, planning each experience carefully. Your enjoyment depends on your health and fitness, so our team will reach out to confirm a trail that matches your fitness level.
When and how do we meet our guide?
Your guide will contact you 24-48 hours before your scheduled trip to confirm meeting time and location. Typically, tours depart at 8 am.

Should we tip our guide?
Our guides put in extensive work before, during, and after each tour to ensure a fantastic experience. While tipping isn’t required, it’s appreciated if you had an enjoyable, safe, and educational experience. A gratuity of 15-20% is typical.
